In 1999 Aaron Baker broke his neck on a motocross track becoming completely paralyzed, and neurosurgeons gave him a million-to-one chance of feeding himself again. But Aaron's subsequent journey did not follow its predicted course. The next fifteen years became a voyage bound by hope and hard work, by competition and entrepreneurship, and most importantly by love. COMING TO MY SENSES documents Aaron's journey from being diagnosed as a complete quadriplegic through his years as a competitive paracyclist. Little by little, Aaron painstakingly made his way back to the world of movement. However, after years of riding a trike walking was still the biggest challenge. And so he set out to cross a 20-mile stretch of Death Valley on foot and unsupported. This modern day vision quest became as much a journey inwards as well as one chasing the horizon.
